Latkes

Yesterday the cooking club was making latkes while my class was making pizza. The pizza was okay - the crust was a little thick since they didn't really understand the concept of things rising. But the latkes looked tastee. I've always wanted to eat them. But alas, I have not had enough Jewish friends. Actually, I'm surprised I didn't get any when I worked with Eric at Lea. After all, I got to celebrate Rosh Hashana with his family. But we didn't make it to Hanakkah on good terms. I hear that Wargsy makes awesome latkes though. Here's to our non-Jewish roots!

All Tut Wants for Christmas

This is what I want to buy secretly. It's $499 at Staples after the instant rebate. It's got a dual core processor and pretty good memory. I wants a laptop. I can think of lots of reasons why, but I know it just sounds like I'm trying to rationalize buying things. Worldly Tut. Still the picture of it is free so you can look at it.

Praise the LORD!

Wow I can't believe I got through math with a C. That is amazing. There is no way I truly deserve a C, so I know I witnessed a miracle. Not like Issy and Wug have ever felt this, but when I got the test, I kept turning the page to do the "easy" problems...until I turned the last page and there were no more problems. Coincidence, I think NOT! Yeah, so I was only sure about one or two problems, which would have added up to less than 15 points out of the 78 possible. At the end, I just prayed the Inigo Montoya prayer for God to guide my sword/pencil and help me circle the right answers. And you totally know, that I was thinking about Inigo Montoya during my test and had that image of his eyes closed walking around with a sword. That was me.

When I checked my final grade, I first looked at the distribution of 25 and below-F and thought "oh that's me" but then I looked and saw that I got a 35 which put me at a low C!!! And then Tut freaked out. I totally thought they made a mistake, but after 100 times of checking (literally) it didn't change and indeed, I had passed that bumcake final. But then! The biggest surprise of all was when I saw my final course grade was a C. How in the world?? The numbers don't add up but I'm not going to question it. All I know is that I'm FREE FREE AT LAST! Thank you for always listening to Tut complain about math. And I know fo shore, that if Wug didn't do my extra credit math problem, I would have been in poo because I'm pretty sure I was the ONLY one who got it right which potentially added 5% to my grade. It was a humdinger bonus. That and my TA is really nice to me and when she graded it she was probably like 1 I mean 10 points for this page. She knew I tried hard. I'll write her a thank you note later.

So in the end there is only one thing left to say. Quoth my math prof "Have the happy Christmas break!" See you soon!

Tut signing off! WOOT for God's miracles in Tut's life!

It's like I'm talking to a monkey, a big stupid monkey named TUT!

This is how I feel when I try to teach myself things before finals. My brain malfunctions and then I confozzle myself.
