These are a few of Wug's favorite things....
Wug is currently falling asleep over her Chemistry problem set, so what better way to stay awake than to post on our revived blog? Today was a long day...Priceton is hosting a Christian Worldview Conference that took up my morning/early afternoon, and then I had to practice piano and do a Down Syndrome training for an event next Saturday. I'm going to be paired up with a DS kid for a day and take him/her around a carnival on Princeton campus. They kind of scared us during training, though, because we had to go through all these hypothetical situations like "what if your kid runs away when you're not looking?" or "what if your kids feigns illness?" or "what if your kid doesn't want to leave the snack table?" I wanted to laugh when I heard the snack table thing (that just sounds like us at Trader Joes and Costco...), but apparently, some DS children can't tell when they're full so they keep eating until they throw up. I hope I get paired up with an easy "buddy" for the day. Traditionally, I'm not a very nice babysitter (at least at the B and G club this summer), so I'll have to try extra hard to be sensitive to a DS kid.
Anywho, Krissy asked us earlier what we would do with an entirely free day. Wonder when that will be? Wug is not too exciting, but an ideal day would mean...
-Wug practices piano (as always, otherwise I would get severe Wong feeling)
-Krissy, Tut, and Wug go to a bookstore with Jamba Juice
-Wug buys Tut one million apples and persimmons (and maybe a banana for Bro if I feel especially benevolent that day)
-Wug and Krissy make many tasties
-Krissy, Tut, and Wug take a nice pleasant walk around Philly when the weather's nice and the leaves are purdy
-Wug finally gets to read Shadow of the Hedgemon
-Krissy, Tut, and Wug have a knitting/movie party
-Wug goes to sleep at 10:00 (on an extremely late night)
Okay, enough dilly dallying. Time to return to dreaded Chemical Bonding...Thanksgiving is only 8 school days away!
